DOM RIGO
Senior Pastor
Dom Rigo is the Senior Pastor and a Founding Member of the International Church of America (ICA). His ministry is centered on biblical teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, prayer, and the practical expression of Christian faith in everyday life.
He understands pastoral ministry not as status or personal prominence, but as a calling to serve Christ and His people — teaching Scripture faithfully, carrying burdens, guiding with love, protecting with courage, and leading by example.
His pastoral teaching emphasizes the centrality of Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, salvation by God’s grace, repentance, prayer, spiritual growth, family life, forgiveness, integrity, and care for others. His preaching seeks to bring biblical truth into the realities people face beyond the church walls: suffering, discouragement, family struggles, temptation, relationships, difficult decisions, and the ordinary challenges of Christian life.
Dom Rigo believes that biblical conviction and pastoral compassion must walk together. The church should be a place where people can be received honestly in their weakness without truth being diluted, and where they can be accompanied toward maturity, responsibility, reconciliation, perseverance, and transformation in Christ.
He also believes that the Body of Christ is greater than any single denomination. ICA seeks to remain faithful to its biblical convictions while recognizing and cooperating, whenever possible, with Christian churches and ministries that confess Christ, proclaim the Gospel, and live under the authority of Scripture.
This understanding of faith expressed through service can also be seen in ReCircular, ICA’s community initiative dedicated to placing useful resources back into circulation, expanding access, supporting families, and turning generosity into practical care.
From the ministry already developed in Brazil, Dom Rigo is now preparing the establishment of ICA’s ministry in the United States, initially focused on Portuguese-speaking communities, carrying the same commitment to biblical preaching, discipleship, prayer, pastoral care, and service.
